Opening Band: Zac Brown Band

We had the same plan as the previous night. We did make it into the venue a bit earlier to catch Zac Brown. They rocked! DMB also did an awesome job. Dave was all whipped up, and talked and danced more than ever. He had classic quotes such as talking about having too much hair growing out of his nose, and that he had seen the mosquitoes. It was a very long set :) topped off by Watchtower with a Star Spangled Banner intro by Stefan on the bass (I called that!). Once again, we made it out in record time!

Opening Band: Zac Brown Band

Great show! We finally got smart about going to Alpine. We camped at the State Park, and had dinner at the campsite. Purposely got to Alpine late, and wound up in the very back of the yellow lot. Perfect! The show rocked. It was topped off by a kick ass version of Two Step (one of my favorites) with Timebomb as the intro. It gave me goosebumps. All of that, and we escaped out of there in record time...and managed to avoid most of the drunk morons in the process!!

I had never seen Santana. I had never been to Summerfest. I had a brilliant idea. We were already going to Wisconsin for two DMB shows. Why not take an extra day of vacation and go see Carlos? Good idea!! It was a very high energy and fun show :) I am so glad that we went to this!!
