I have wanted to see the "Purple One" (a fellow Minnesotan!) in concert for a very long time. I had very high expectations of this show, and was not disappointed. Prince is a gifted musician, and incredible performer. The aftershow party was at the Tom-Tom Club. Prince made an appearance, as did Morris Day & The Time.

Another great venue to see a show. This was the 4th time that I saw these guys, and it was a kick ass time! After 25 years, they certainly are "Alive & Well"!!! Opening band was the Lounge Puppets.

This was a private show...Bryon's Grandma Katie hooked us up with tickets. It was totally awesome! I FINALLY got up on stage for "I Get Excited"!!! (That's me on the far left! The best part was the big, sweaty hug from Rick after the song was over!!!)

Another awesome free show! I had never heard much of his music before, but this show really rocked! We were able to get pretty close to the front. Also saw a local band called Gertrude. This had to be the best music weekend of the summer.

This is an awesome place to see a show!!! That hill is killer, though...I managed to do a log roll down it near the end of the show. I wasn't laughing at the time, but it is quite funny now. Opening band was Indigenous (a Minnesota band!).

Live was very good, but I was totally not impressed with Counting Crows...they only played for 45 minutes!!! Plus, the World is a terrible place to see a show...they won't even let you tailgate! We got busted for having a grill going in the parking lot before the show.
