In March 2007, this show was released as Live Trax 8.

Description from the DMB website: 08.07.2004 Alpine Valley Music Theatre, East Troy, WI was the first night in a two night stand at one of DMB’s most-traveled-to summer tour stops. The Alpine Valley show was a near perfect setlist from the show opener greeting, Hello Again to the encore featuring Typical Situation followed by Warehouse. New song Sugar Will was played as a long jam and another song making its debut that summer, Joyride, was also featured on the setlist. A special highlight of the Alpine night one Live Trax recording is Crazy Easy, never before released live!

My second “Dead” show. What a trip...especially the crowd watching in the parking lot before the show! Bryon won an autographed Bob Weir guitar from WXRT, which is now displayed in the living room under a picture of Jerry. And now he can’t make fun of me anymore for my Rick guitar!!

Kevin Chalfant & The Storm - Morris, IL

07/03/2004
Kevin Chalfant & The Storm
Grundy County Fair
Morris, IL

Usually they have country bumpkins play at the fair, so it was a refreshing change to have the Storm play. They did 2 sets over the span of about two hours. A lot off of “Running With the Wind” and the Storm albums, as well as several Journey songs (three of the original Storm members were from Journey, and Kevin was at one time in the running for the lead spot in Journey when Steve Perry left the band). The show ended with a patriotic medley leading into the fireworks…”I’m Proud to be an American”, “Born in the USA”, “R-O-C-K in the USA”, and “You Can Still Rock in America” (which was even better than Night Ranger (shhhhhhh!!!)
